"Sharing the Christmas Story"

Churches of the BMA, I hope you had a joyous and merry Christmas season and are anticipating the Lord to provide in great ways for 2024. We are looking towards that, and asking the Lord to increase our faith in His provision. 

 

We had many great opportunities through December to meet new Afghan neighbors, host familiar Afghan friends, and share the Christmas story with them. We are hopeful that after two years of working with them, we have been walking in a “seed-sowing” season, and that in the coming months and years, we will walk in a reaping season seeing many of our Muslim neighbors trust run Christ. Our local Afghan ministry partners are faithfully saving and proclaiming the good news with these neighbors regularly, and we are so grateful, for them and the new Afghan congregation that has been planted in the OKC area. I am hopeful that Grace Harbor will be a key player in supporting this work in intentional ways. 

 

There were also some great times of fellowship for us in December with a New Year's Eve Brunch and Chili cook-off. On Sunday, December 4, we installed two men as pastors/elders in our church. By God’s grace, we are seeing the beginnings of church formation and organization!
