Janurary 2023 Report

Below is an excerpt from Chris’ newsletter for the month:

Please pray for the extending of the ministry into Noble, Oklahoma! Lord willing, we will begin prayer meetings at the Noble Public Library with the hopes of seeing a bible study established that will reach the residents of Noble! One couple from our Church has already expressed their commitment to this endeavor, and so has a family that lives next door to me, that just today said they would like to participate! Over the next several weeks the emphasis will be prayer, but we are planning to start teaching through the book of Matthew before long. As we look at the ministry of Jesus, the beginning of His ministry began with fasting and prayer. At the end of this month, our church will dedicate the last Sunday to prayer and fasting as we worship alongside our parent church, Pleasant Hill. We haven’t seen a revival break out in Norman yet, but perhaps as we pray and seek the Lord’s face, we will see an outpouring of God’s Spirit in the small town of Noble, OK that will hopefully spread to Norman.
