Here are just a few of the activities for the month -

Highlights:

  • More professions of faith
  • Additional evangelism training
  • Continuation of discipleship

Lynn and I went to Arkansas to assist with disaster relief due to the terrible flooding there. Many people were devastated by the effects of it. Brother Anthony Pennington and his wife Mary also went and we worked together as a team in the relief effort. Brother Pennington pastor’s the church in Leedey, OK. We primarily provided food and cleaning supplies in the Mayflower, AR area. We were assisting in the effort by “Just the Crumbs” ministry lead by Bro. Lavon Hayden from Mississippi. Many people have been affected by the flooding in several states including Oklahoma. Pray for those that are affected by this tragedy.

Continue to pray for our Bible studies and those that are leading in them.

Below is an excerpt from Chris’s report:

This month we were glad for the opportunity to meet Skyler and Hunter! Skyler and Hunter were willing for Steve and I to visit them at their apartment and talk about spiritual things. One evening they came to church and heard me preach the gospel. That evening Sue shared with them that the local mission offers to do premarital counseling and would officiate a simple wedding if the couple would like to invite God into their relationship. They decided to do just that and as a result we saw a miracle happen – within weeks this couple went through several hours of premarital counseling, and then planned a beautiful wedding at our church complete with a wedding dress, cake, and dance! We saw this as a miracle from God – that such a beautiful wedding happened so spontaneously! Our very first one at New Generation! Not only that, but this young married couple is also interested in becoming active in our church by participating in door to door evangelism!! Not quite like at Cana, but Praise the LORD that He still does wedding miracles!

Please continue to pray for us! We appreciate your support both prayerfully and financially.
