Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. We appreciate each one. I had some surgery recently and am dragging, so please pray regarding that. Our attendance seems to be remaining fairly constant with both in person and online attendance combined.

Here are some excerpts from Chris’ report:

I have been meditating on the reason for Christmas the last several weeks – why did Jesus have to be born into the world? And the reason for that, this year, is crystal clear: we are broken people who live in a broken world and we need to be healed! But thankfully Jesus decided to enter into our brokenness so that we can have hope! God is with us!!

Please continue to pray for Steve! He’s on the road to recovery from his surgery, but is still feeling weak! Jeff Coles had the Corona virus, but he is also recovering thankfully, and should be out of the hospital by Christmas, praise the LORD! Also, during this time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, we get to celebrate that a new child has been born into our church! Congrats Melissa and Luis for the birth of your daughter Lainey!

Which reminds us of the surprising truth that the hope of the world was born lowly in a manger.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6

Thank you for your continued support and the opportunity to serve the Lord and his people in Norman.
