Grace Harbor Church

August 2019 Report

It is hard to believe that we are in September! It was two years ago this month that about 10 people began gathering to pray and study God’s Word in my living room. Two years later, we gather weekly with about 40 adults and 15 children as Grace Harbor Church. The Lord’s faithfulness to us has been so clear and so evident.

Just a few weeks ago, we welcomed 36 students and their families into our facility and provided school supplies, Bibles, and prayer. We were able to have intentional conversations about the Gospel and invited several to place their full trust and hope in Christ. We are praying that many would do just that, and would see that Grace Harbor is a place of love and a place committed to the most life-changing truth God offers us through His Son and the work He has accomplished for us. Another exciting aspect of this was a further connection and partnership with Harvest Hills Elementary. In fact, we were able to have the school counselor in our church that day to help us welcome and accommodate the families who we served. This may seem insignificant, but this was a very big answer to prayers for us. In a more direct way, we were able to live out what we believe and what compels us in front of this counselor. Since this event, we have been invited in multiple times to participate in school events and projects. We believe that the Lord is at work in our community and in our relationships so that we might have more effectiveness in proclaiming to many what is true about God and what His invitation to us is.

We are looking forward to seeing our brothers sisters at the upcoming Central Association Meeting in Purcell and are eager to share about all that God is doing in and through Grace Harbor Church!
