Grace Harbor Church

January 2020 Report

We have started the year strong at Grace Harbor as we have used the month of January to highlight global missions and the work God is doing among the nations. This past Wednesday evening, we had John David Smith and Eli Semedo from the BMA Global Missions Office with us to share about BMA Missions. We invited our Central Oklahoma BMA sister churches to join us, and had over a dozen students and adults join us from several churches in our state. It was a powerful night as we heard about the work missionaries are doing from Lebanon to Portugal. God is at work!

Next weekend, we will be hosting a two day training called “Senders U”. Senders is put on by an organization that trains local churches to develop and equip their folks to recognize the many facets of mission work, particularly in the area of “sending”. These aspects are: welcomer, prayer, mobilizer, equipper. Our prayer is that this training will powerfully equip our church to use our gifts and resources to be faithful in sending men, women, and families to the nations!

Can’t wait to share more in next month’s report. We believe God has great things in store for the year ahead, and we are eager to be part of it all!
