October 2021 Report

"A rather 'Ordinary' Month."

October was a rather “ordinary” month for the most part. I had someone tell me recently that ministry is like farming. You often times do not know “how things are going” until months down the road. But for today, you keep tilling, sowing, and doing the work the Lord has laid before you for that day. This seems to be the theme for the work going on in OKC through Grace Harbor. It is not unexciting by any means. We are having more Gospel conversations than we have had in the past and we believe the Lord is truly working in these relationships. We are grateful for the Lord’s work in the seasons of “ordinary”.

Beyond that, this coming Sunday we have "Family Sunday”. We have 4 Family Sundays each year, and they are times for us to welcome new covenant members, welcome new babies, and baptize. This coming Sunday, we will be welcoming one new family as covenant members, and welcoming two new babies. We also will be celebrating three years since launching as a church. The Lord has been so good and faithful, and we want to take time to acknowledge the work he has done among us these three years. We will be having lunch and a time of fellowship following our Sunday morning gathering.
