BMAO Missionary Nathan Brewer
April served as another exciting and confirming month as our move to Oklahoma City approaches. We kicked off April at the BMA of Oklahoma Mid-year meeting at Southgate in Moore. We were able to provide an update to several of our state churches and express our gratitude for their continued prayers and support. We were also challenged and encouraged by the charge from Pastor Todd West. Just days later, I returned with my family to look at some homes in Northwest Oklahoma City. We left town that day after making an offer on a home and within a couple of days, our offer was accepted! Thomas and Courtney Mobly will also be spending some time time in OKC next weekend on the search for a home as well.
Thomas and I were able to attend the Exponential Church Planting Conference in Orlando over the last week where we made some great connections and were able to share our vision with several great people! We want to say a special thanks to the kind people at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for making it possible for us to attend this conference. We are now gearing up to attend the BMA National Meeting in Arlington, Texas where our family and the Mobly’s will be officially commissioned by the BMAA as church planters to Oklahoma City. Following this meeting, we will have just a few weeks left in Rogers, Arkansas. We close on our home in OKC on May 15 and the moving process will begin after May 26. Our time in Rogers has been an incredible blessing in many ways. Grace Hills Church has been so kind to let us spend the year in an intentional time of learning and growth. Likewise, the BMA of Oklahoma Missions Department (under the leadership of Bro. Gene Hankins) has also been so cooperative and excited for our journey to church planting.
