Which Track are you On?
Three R’s on the Road
Which track are you on? I did not know the answer to this question until someone shared what the Bible says about it. Now I know for sure where I am going when I die because of what Jesus did on the cross 2000 years ago. As you read these lines know that there are two tracks to take in life, Heaven or Hell. Which track are you on?
Recognize – man is a sinner
People do recognize, for the most part, that we are sinners and that Jesus was a perfect man without sin. This is the easy R. That is not the hard part; it is the next R that keeps us on the wrong track.
Repent – turn from SIN, an about face
People going to Hell do nothing! The dictionary and the Bible both define Repent as turn from, or make an about face. Change your way of doing.
Receive – free gift of eternal life
People believe there is a Heaven, but did you know they do not like to believe there is a literal burning Hell? How does one get off the track to Hell and on the track to Heaven? These three “R’s” point the way.
Here is what the Bible says:
Recognize – The First R
Eccles. 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
REPENT – The Second R
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
RECEIVE – The Third R
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Recognize – do you?
Repent – will you?
Receive – Heaven or Hell?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The question still remains if you are not sure. Please consider the following lines before you stop reading. Are you willing to settle this matter of your eternal destiny? Will you do it? You can right this moment. I sincerely hope you will.
